So according to the U.S College Ranking, the music school I’m about to audition for is number 2 in the country. That’s one ranking ahead of the famous Julliard School in New York.
Okay, I didn’t even know I was going to audition for this until 2 weeks ago. That gave me TWO WEEKS to prepare for an audition that all the other students have been preparing for for MONTHS.
I didn’t know for sure that I wanted to audition for the School until that time and then realized that the last audition date was March 3rd (a.k.a this saturday). In the past, I’ve had three times that amount of time to prepare for simple stuff like Solo and Ensemble.
Maybe I’m just letting my nerves take over, but being admitted to this school seems like such a big deal and I really don’t think I’m going to make it. If I just had a little more time…..
